@VALsacount2 I forgot too that back in the day the fuel used also made alot of carbon. Alot of farmers would tear down a tractor engine or whatever that was used hard all summer to clean off all the carbon... Its a shame that with all these years past and all this technology they can't make something good. Guess will never win!! LOL

@Jason1Pa Thats ethanol, back in the twenties it was pure, but it was very LOW octane. Now days you can get better compression, but high ethanol makes it harder to start vehichles.

@VALsacount2 The gas we have today is worse then years ago

actualy you can stop it by the flywheel because thats the weak spot sometimes and you can start it by there aswell

I used to start an F-20 Farmall that way, but I understand that it is a risky way to do it. A backfire can break your arm.

20 hp engine, side head valves have lolzy comp ratios, cuz gas back then was junk as hell.

"like a 2cylinder JD" so I guess this would be a "poppin Henry"?

Not really it's just the way the video was made and the comment I made at that moment. I guess I'd have received a broken arm if I really did that. There is a further video of it since I painted it a few years ago too. Just look at the rest of my album here. Thanks for the comment.
