This is a free singing lesson which focusses on air support and vibrato. I've pasted roughly what I have mentioned in the video below, enjoy and make sure to visit http://www.talentguy.com often!

1) Try practicing your favorite song with your mouth completely open and don't sing the words, instead, sing it on an "AH" Syllable. For example, like this:

In the Still of the night or saint nick song

When you sing it this way, it forces you to sing with a nice open throat, in a relaxed manner. When your throat is nice and open, it helps the vibrations caused by singing to come out easier.

MMM AHH which sound is louder, yes the AHH sound because it is un inhibited.

2) Make sure to let the air out slowly as you sing and make sure that it last throughout your singing. Try to sing along with me, we will sing 3 half scales, the fourth one will be a full scale.

  • what i really need to know is when you are pushing the air slowly are you also making the vibrato move to or does it work by itself ?

  • The vibrato is suppose to happen naturally, but not always and not on every note. I cheat a little from time to time. My other video shows some other breathing control exercises. Can you do me a favor and sing your favorite song in response to this video. I might be able to make up an exercise that will help your situation.
