I used to think I just wanted to be like Tom Waits.... I have found I am now consumed by the idea... I would steal one of his kidneys on the off chance that it would help my song writing. He'd wake up in a bath tub of ice in Mexico going "Crap they took my kidney!" and I'd wake up cussing my second hand kidney from a man who smoked gravel, and drank kerosene! If it's any consolation Tom you can have the kidney I'm not using... If it makes you feel better.... King of the gutter he is! Love it!

A fantastic song, win a real live doll, thje lyrics is amazing. Then Scarlet J/Bowie made a mess of it. It´s difficult to not feel a tear when a hear Tom in this song.
