9 year old Kari Kinnett plays the Suzuki Q-Chord http://www.QChord.net and sings Nat King Cole song: (I LOVE YOU) FOR SENTIMENTAL REASONS. Kari is an incredibly talented little blind girl. She plays several instruments and can play any song after listening to the song just once!!!... This video was taken sometime in early 2000. For info on product visit http://www.QChord.net

  • Wow!! Where is she? Why only one video? What a mystery. I hope she finds happiness and success in whatever life has for her. She's wonderful.

  • This video was taken in 2000. Kari should be around 17 years old now. Don't know where she is now, but will try and locate her when I return to USA and direct her to these wonderful comments she has been receiving on Youtube. Thanks

  • @Vagmagic wow who set you off bud

  • Amazing! This is THE most inspirational music video I have EVER watched. Yes, I closed my eyes the first time as I was blown away, but now I keep my eyes open every time so I can hear and watch a miracle. What an ending too as she held her key and vibrato. Thank you so much.

  • Kari, if you ever do a DVD, I'd like to buy a copy.

I think you are absolutely wonderful, with amazing talent.

Thank you so very much for sharing this.

You blessed me! God bless you.

    Dave

  • Wow this is just one of the best things I have EVER seen and heard.

Close your eyes and listen then realise that she is just nine years old. Then consider all the other challenges she has.

What inspiration you are Kari - I wish I had that much talent!

    GO GIRL!

  • Wow! I don't know the difficulty level of playing the QChord, but I know that those chord arrangements and coving the singing isn't too easy.

    Bravo!

(I see comments below now, and I starting to read)

  • Continuing from last comment: She has Asperger's Syndrome which is a form of autism. Hand flapping is a very common thing in autism spectrum disorders. She is a soprano in the school choir and sings at talent shows and sololy at programs. I actually have audio recordings on CD of those performances but no video. I told her about this video and all the comments he's gotten saying how beautiful her voice is and she said "Thank you!"

  • I know her. I went to school with her 3 years ago at the Illinois state school for the blind and visually impaired. She was 17 when this was posted but she is 20 now and will be 21 next year and is attending possably her last year at the state school. I have not really seen her play any other instrument besides keyboard and piano. I am friends with her and I hear from her a lot. If you're wondering why she flaps her hands a lot in this video it is because she has a form of autism.

  • I knew you'd like it Sis, voice of an Angel alright.

  • Wow!! The voice of an angel ! sweetazzz...

  • how the fuck did this become about god? that guy doesn't exist! Get some courage and live your own way!
