  • "I've had so many names. Old names that only the wind and the trees can pronounce" best quote ever.

  • This scene where Ofelia meets Pan is like a dark version of Lucy Pevensie meeting Mr. Tumnus in "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe."

  • Pan and the labyrinth are like old greek. like the time of the gods

  • @caitlinjane92 This scene is a dark, awesome version of Lucy Pevensie meeting Mr. Tumnus in "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe." And I have to say this faun looks epic, Mr. Tumnus was shit..

  • pretty little ofelia looks a little like jeff buckley

  • ive never seen this movie, whos a bad guy and whos good? what are the 3 challenges??WHY is the pale man a child eater???

  • In the native language of the film it is called The Fauns Labyrinth, and yet we have it as Pan's Labyrinth who is a specific Faun in mythology. Did it get changed to Pan because English speaking audiences might not know what a Faun is but they are likely to know Pan? I don't see any evidence this Faun is meant to be Pan.

  • "vuestra, vuestro..." Cervantes is smiling.

  • Pretty much my favorite scene in the film.

  • @caitlinjane92 And far more beautiful.

  • The ancient faun, whom the fascists and Franco have no power over...is he all in her mind? Maybe, and maybe not.

Del Toro was influenced by a recurring nightmare he had as a child in which a faun would start to emerge from behind a cabinet in his bedroom and he would wake up frightened before the faun ever fully appeared.

  • @zodiac1218 Was it really THAT serious???
