@embrytic My son and I both took a heap of vanity out to fire-pit. I think some artists hang on to a lot because they arrogantly think someone in the future will study it and be in awe. Most likely not. It was a purge that, after sorting through some of the soulless lies, was an incredible feeling of relief. And to top it off I have an extra bin for my new stuff. Heaps of figure drawings burn slow, my sons paper mache masks were hardest burning, my oil paintings kind of smelled like perfume.

That was beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

That was f'n cool, I totally get it.. cleansing. I wish I had the guts to burn/delete half the old music I have that served it's purpose years ago... now it just sits around feeding the ego.
Plus, you made art - The video is cool. Well done bro. magic. Just what I needed to see...

Ahh... I've done that once. Except that was just me deleting a 5GB and a 10GB folder containing all my terrible uncompressed videos.
I'm doin' a burn New Years Eve. I pulled out the lying soulless crap, that becomes noting but a storage problem. Burn baby burn! New year-new beginning.

Nothing too strange actually, I have too much stuff and it ties me down - trying to learn 'enoughism'
getting rid of all but what 'I' really need :)
