  • @rony509 Well .. that is a stupid thing to say. You can't compare music and musicians like that :)

  • Being a child of the 60s and 70s I remember the Denice Williams original well. I do like this jazzier version. Marcus Miller is so talented! I have a lot of respect for Marcus' musicmanship. He's done a lot of great stuff with David Sanborn.

  • @StakkelsJimm ... ok y'all, take a deep breath and sit back and exhale slowly. Just enjoy what you like and leave the rest of it to the pros playing this wonderful music. It is for all of us to enjoy ... comparing this and that is just .. well, let's say you do more productive and useful stuff with your time. 31 flavors ... there's plenty to go around for all of us ... just enjoy the MUSIC and the people who have made it their business to play it for us!

  • @StarRoxable Lol, me too. Then I realised it is infact a woman. Corinne Bailey Raem, it says under the like-dislike section.

  • HOLY CRAP!!!

I thought a girl sang this song! A white girl!

    But instead. a boy!!!!!!!! Holy!!!!!

  • @nasjax8888 Mine too...

  • How did I miss this for so long? I love this song, and I love Miller. I never knew the two came together til today!

  • exelente

  • Simply Incredible Marcus. Please continue for all the right reasons!!!

  • Smooth version.... Hear the bass talking !!!!!!!

  • Sorry, but Marcus is the MAN, and has been since the 70's. Yes, we all bow down to Jaco and Larry, the innovators. But Marcus has the absolute KILLER groove, with a minimum of notes, and the BEST slap tone EVER. Some of these other guys over play, never change their strings, and don't get it done. And Stanley has been out of tune how many times. Marcus may be one of the most recorded bass players in history. Gonna go see him on the 31st at the Hollywood Bowl. My favorite for over 35 years.
