I didn't like wussified Alan during this period ... but that was about the only misstep in the tail end of GL's golden age. What a different show it was just a year later ... it was never the same after the Reva/Lewis invasion.
The dialogue between Ed and Maureen is so honest and real and moving -- everything I loved about them as a couple. And the other Bauers with Alan, such interesting relationships yet such a strong sense of family. Why why why did Gail Kobe and Pam Long destroy this?
WOW. Just...WOW. I have the BIGGEST grin on my face right now--Ed and Maureen; Bert, Mike, Hope, Alan-Michael, and Alan...THANK YOU for uploading this! I LOVE everything about it! :-D
I always liked the original Ed.

I remember that Alan and Hope were living somewhere(?), and that Floyd had become BIG and moved into the Spaulding mansion, for a time...genius!
