The boyfriend not realizing the child was deathly ill...then panicking. He was drawn in and set up and realized it...but ended up with the child and didn't know any better. If he were a gangster he would never have checked in to hotel. He probably thinks he kidnapped her because his girlfriend told him to 'run' with the child.

2. I mean to say, with cars, freeways, such a big country, he didn't need to do any hotel switch thing! Its like there be no reason for garbage being in KC's trunk. He would have sedated her before the switch and you don't need to checkin to a hotel for that! I think he took her but was trying to hide from PREDATORS on him, the mom and the child. I think he tried to escape the criminals...not the police...and something went very wrong. He will have to RAT but cover his own ass.

Hi, Sorry I can't read all the posts right away. ALBI! If the buyer 'cancelled' the 'boyfriend' could just have taken her home and explained(lied. If he had no info it was 'cancelled' he would have waited at the hotel for ages no? Either way, if he was scared, all he had to do was take her home. Why didn't he?

I believe this was the "bio Mom's" I call her that b/c she does not deserve the title Mom had this plan from the get go, a Mom that has no idea how much their child weights not even a guess is far gone. She kept Shaniya and told the aunt you will never see her again, she went for 2 days not 1 month, she had 2 outfits with her. So many people dropped the ball to protect this child. I'm just wondering why the child didn't phone her aunt to come get her.

This was a biracial (black and white) child which would probably bring more money. I believe good ole Mario Andretti gave the mom hits of crack as "payment" and promised more money from the "buyers" of the child but instead took the child to the hotel room to rape her and "break her in" so to speak and ended up killing her. I do not believe there is truly a third party, they were just trying to set that other poor bastard up to take the fall! I hope they both get the death penalty!!!
