In 1941 the largest single massacre of the Holocaust took place at Babi Yar, a ravine in Kiev.

In just 2 days almost 34 thousand Jews were murdered by a team of German SS troops, other German units, and local collaborators.

@aish: the Jews were by far the biggest group to be killed in the Holocaust. They outnumbered each and every other group killed. Nobody disrepects the other groups that died in the Holocauct, but the Jews were the biggest group, that's why everybody first thinks of the Jews when speaking about the Holocaust. Btw: the number of Gypsies killed is not near as high as that of Jews killed. We should remember and never forget ALL the victims.
