Rep. Fleming (R-LA) Questions Obama Ocean Policy

Congressman John Fleming, M.D., at a hearing of the House Natural Resources Committee, raised serious concerns about President Obama's Executive Order which, among other things, creates a National Ocean Policy that essentially sets up a new form of planning and zoning for seaside and inland communities. Dr. Fleming questioned Nancy Sutley, the Co-Chair of the National Ocean Council and Dr. Jane Lubchenco, of the National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration, about the implications of this massive Administration overhaul on coastal communities.
