These are some images from a recent trip to the U.A.E. It was fascinating in its contrasts. I met a number of wonderful people that continually remind me that our similarities are much greater that our differences.

  • Thank you for sharing

  • A380?

  • OMG so many contrasts! Thanks 4 the images, it's incredible to see this wealth in the same world where so many die with no food, it's sad. Anyways, i hope 4 a better future.

  • wore you traveling first class?

Did you stay at burj al arab?

  • Great images. Abu Dhabi has a surreal quality, very disconnected from the little enclave of fishing boats that are sandwiched in the middle of your video.

  • Thank you! The imagery had an interesting impact on me. Such ostentatious wealth in a world that contrasts with such poverty. Cycles occur and I see that the contractors (all of those construction cranes) are faced with a lot of projects that are now stopped. Your imagery reminded me of the 1971 short film "Iran," Claude Lelouche (also here on youtube). A different epoch. A different cycle..........

  • WONDERFUL video, AWESOME PICTURES!!!

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I loved the moment of landing at JFK with the snow! I remembered my trips to the Middle East! So different cultures together, so many contrasts.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
