well u gott it all wrong..wankel engine actualy is not really a 1.4liters capacity..it has 3 concave combustion chambers each 1.4 liters basicly the rx8 has 3 *1.4l = 4.2 liters..so mazda actualy has a 4.2l engine ..it is a marketing strategy..is like u take a 2liters clasic engine and proclame just one chilinder volume wich means 0.5l srry for my english..

Thats kinda shit! they had the top down on the TT and theirs also the 3.2 6 so theirs alot of factors in play they are not counting.

@interactivee They are trying to compare apples to apples here. The Rx8 and this Audi TT configuration are more similar than the TTS (which is the performance oriented TT). The power of the Rx8 and the TT is similar, and the price is close even though the TT is $5,000 more.

@4evermazda- the only Mazda girls are picking over Audi/BMW/Merc MAY BE the last Gen RX7 and that would be a bit of a stretch. So the RX8 barely beat the TT- big deal. It doesn't make it a chick magnet. Get real. If you think girls prefer the RX8 to the aforementioned cars they are either lying to you or your making it up as you go along- I think we ALL know which one it is.

you mean the one that starts at $45,000? Go get one of each car. Spend the difference on a turbo and coilover setup for the rx-8 and see who wins.
