@pbrskater26 I guess you have never read the Song of Solomon or Proverbs 5:15-20. God invented sex, and He's all about it, within the context of marriage (Hebrews 13:4). In fact, I tell young people that I have better, safer, and more sex because I enjoy a good marriage. In fact, there are few pleasures that exceed the guiltless feeling of intimacy with the one that God has given to you in holy matrimony. - Dr. Force

Sex is a biological imperative. Marriage and God are social constructs. The great religions of the world can’t maintain the same grip they once had because of the advent of technology and the fruits of society’s mental prowess cater to individualism and secularism. In a bleak time period people wanted more than anything, to be loved and to know that their short-lived existence was only the beginning.

Plain and simple Christianity has failed to confront the cultural delay of marriage. People in bible times got married in their early teen years; but people today get married in their late 20s. Expecting people to be 13 year old virgins is a good thing; but exaggerating the issue, and expecting people to be 30 year-old virigins on the same basis is an extremist, unrealistic and unhealthy point-of-view.

I'm thinking in a biological context, sex is what drives evolution and what makes us deferent (genetic variation). Me I don't see a point in waiting till i'm marred because I don't know if I will, besides i'm 29 ( don't won't to be 40 and a virgin). Also, though an environmental stand point, coulture and environment christianity tells us that sex (not though marriage) is a sin and lust is bad. But through a biological stand point, lust is a part of attraction!

Well, I'm not going to say that he really knows any more answers than the rest of us, BUT - even Patty Stanger of the Millionaire Matchmaker encourages women and men to abstain from sex until they are in a COMMITTED and Monogamous relation ship for at least ninety days. That means engaged and prepared to marry. She also does not approve of people living together first either. She says that it does NOT pave the way to marriage. So, do take it slow and be safe.

I wish this tool would show me the Bible verse where it says two people are married when they walk down an aisle and say a couple of words. He can't because its not there. Weddings are man made and not from God. Marriage happens when two peopel become one. Which means sex.
