World premiere of A SONG FOR OURSELVES, a film about the life and music of Asian American troubadour Chris Iijima. In addition to the film there will be live musical performances by BLUE SCHOLARS, BAMBU and KIWI.

Not sure but it's dope. Their collab on Bambu's I Scream is super dope too... "Home Cooked" is the title of that one but I don't know this one.

While I understand the filmmakers want to reach out to the youths with this trailer, it would have been nice if the trailer at the very least gave a little bit of Chris Iijima. It almost makes on think this is a film about different rap crews, not Iijima.
