What is The Atheist Experience?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

    sorry..Ephisians 6:9

  • @HonestMan395

In the middle of the whipping..to tell youself I'm doing this for the guy who is whipping me right now, for the murderers, the prostitutes, the sinners....All this... for the hope that they will live with me in heaven If they BELIEVE I did this for them...that they are worth it.

Do me a favor and read Matthew 13:14-15.Jesus explains exactly what He want to do for you...

Thank you for your reply, I hope we continue this conversation, You r more than welcome to comment on my channel

"The bible says he knew it was going to happen and he knew that he would survive it and live in heaven. In no way could that be called a sacrifice."

-This is the picture of Faith. His faith in God our Father, that He is going to do what He promises...without the evidence. Can you honestly say that your are willing to take that punishment... in the middle of the beating, in the middle of getting nails to your hand...tell youself I have no proof but I know I will be resurrected....

  • @HonestMan395

Even though you don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God. The savior of the world!! That His sacrifice was for you and me.... doesn't mean He doesn't believe in you. He takes every word you say against Him...restlessly finds the door to your heart... to tell you I LOVE YOU STILL.

..while Christians sometimes experience immediate and material rewards for our obedience to God, this is not always the case. If so we would be tempted to boast about our own achievements and only do good for what we get. relates the verse in (Mark 8:36). My heavenly rewards will accurately reflect what I have done here on earth... So Jesus told us how to live until he comes. We must watch for Him, work diligently, and obey his commands.

"The bible itself tells the Israelites who they could take for slaves and this continued with Jesus himself, who gave advice on how to beat a slave. Luke 12:45-48." As I understand your thoughts from a skeptics view, let me share with you it meaning, I pray you understand. Luke 12 45-48 Jesus said repeatedly that He was leaving this world but would return in the future. To prepare the Kingdom for his followers. He promises rewards for those who have been faithful to Him(master)..

another thing I want you to think about, a slave being a hard worker. In those times it's not like you can go in to your local blacksmith and say can I have an are you hiring? can I have an application? it did not work that way.

  • @HonestMan395

..will and treating them like nthing, or selling and trading of human beings...Ephesians 9 is the complete opposite..saying you must treat you slaves right, do not threaten them. because they both serve them same master in Heaven because does no choose favorites... think of it that in those time negative slavery was rampant!! now your hear something against the grain...a revolutionary way of thinking..lots of people rejected that because they wanted dominance over another person

  • @HonestMan395

I'm glad that you advise me to read the bible more thorougly...which I do, with eyes to see and ears to hear...but i read it as a believer as opposed to a skeptic. Where you see "slave" as a chance to expose some harshness in the word of God.. (Ephisians 6), I encourage you to see a slave as an employee...another definition in the dictionary is a "Hard worker". continuing with Ephisians 9 such a contrast with the dominant understanding salvery, which is usually against someones..
