God of War - speed comparisons of movement styles.

The game positions Kratos at the exact same place and direction every time you exit the sewer entrance, making it a pretty objective place from which to measure these speeds.

From slowest to fastest, how long it took to cross the journey from the other end to where the camera angle changes:

11. Running normally, 12.01 seconds.

10. Weak attack to grab, cancel with block, roll, repeat (A.K.A I don't know what made my try this one out). 10.23 seconds.

9. Lv.4 BoC complete Hermes Rush, 08.19 seconds.

8. Backwards roll, cancel with MG-stance. (it has a step backwards, after all... didn't help though.) 08.01 seconds.

7. Rollrush canceled to jump and instantly afterwards Hermes Stomp. 07.17 seconds.

6. Rollrush canceled to Hermes Stomp w/o jumping. 07.07 seconds.

5. Hermes Rush Lv. 4 canceled with Zeus' Fury attack stance. 07.07 seconds.

4. Backwards roll canceling. 06.06 seconds.

3. Forward roll canceling. 5.20 seconds.

2. Sideways roll canceling. 5.13 seconds.

1. Rollrush canceled to another rollrush. 5.03 seconds

If I recall correctly, you just hold the right analog stick forward, and cancel your rolls using X or square.

Roll -> L1 -> X + R3 -> L1, etc.

Are u sure that you've typed correctly? I asked way to do "ROLLRUSH CANCELED TO ROLLRUSH", and I don't think X+R3 play any roll in that.

X is used to cancel the Hermes Rush, and pushing R3 simultaneously will instantly give you a new roll.
