Monotonix in Denver, CO (Bicycle and Sofa Chair Crowd Surfing!!) - 7/04/10

Holy cow. If you see one live performance in your life, make sure it's the Israeli trio Monotonix. I saw them at this venue called Rhinoceropolis, which is basically somebody's living room in the Five Points neighborhood in Denver. These guys were totally insane, and thanks to them, I know what it really means to be rock n' roll. (Whoops - it turns out the name of the venue was Glob. Sorry about that!)

These guys played at the Civic Media Center in Gainesville, Florida a while back and the lead singer was practically molesting this woman in the crowd and starting fights with people until someone just about knocked him out with a few well-landed punches, and then they trashed the venue. It was like a PG-13 GG Allin. Not cool.

Actually it was a Glob. It was kind of a last-minute change of venue. Rhinoceropolis is next door.
