This was the finest group of guys you will ever meet..Humor is a terrific intoxicant. There is no B.S. in those pics, thats how they were..I remember once the boys were not crazy about a new Sergeant that was shipped in...He liked doing things by the book..The boys unfortunately burned the book..One of them rode a confiscated dirt bike up the front steps into the building and in front of the desk did a donut dropping a pack of firecracker and then rode back down the steps with the Sgt chasing..

God I miss the old powder blue shirts and the days when the job was fun. I remember leaving my house an hour or two early just to go the pct and hang out with the guys. What incredible days those were. I used to LOVE going to work. Now I'm counting the days till I'm paroled from the abortion that this job has become. I miss the simpler times. No compstat. No C summonses. No mincromanaging. No excessive discipline. Nowadays there are D.I.'s, Inspectors and even Cheifs getting charges.

Lookin back, There was no greater honor, then wearing the "44" collar brass.I started with the winter 94 crew and we had just lost Sean. I thank all the brothers that paved the way before us (all the guys in the video and then some). You guys paved down respect on the streets and through the N.Y.P.D. When the shit hit the fan in the city, the 44 was thrown in the front line, but when it was a pretty detail, we where in the back. I miss you all, especially our brothers that have passed.

yeah this is the real deal not like some of the squirrel chasers who love to bust balls but would probly shit themselves workin in the ghettos
There is nothing like the brotherhood shared by the "old school" cops. That was when brothers in blue truly were united. It's nothing like that now. Awesome video!

Actually thinking about it, that may have been Al Morales in the building. In any event it was a sad story and may they both Rest In Peace...
