A saxophone player reduces Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda to tears with his stunning audition performance on tonight's show.

Julian Smith tells Ant and Dec that at the Birmingham auditions that it would be his "ultimate dream" to play the instrument for a living.

He says: "I'm married and I have two daughters, I know I'm not getting any younger and I want to make life better for them.

"I'm hoping today could change everything for me, I want it more than anything."

The 39-year-old's stuns the theatre audience and the judging panel with his performance of "Somewhere, Somehow" from the musical West Side Story.

Tonight's show also features an emotional performance from a teenage singing sensation who brings a rare smile to the face of Simon Cowell.

Shaheen Jafargholi, who is only 12-years-old, begins his audition by performing "Valerie" by The Zutons but Cowell tells him to stop and asks him to sing a number which is more suitable.

Shaheen rises to the challenge and brings the Cardiff crowd to their feet with an amazing performance of the Michael Jackson song "Who's Loving You".
