  • So the CCP doesnt extrajudicial torture, rape, sexually mutilate and kill Falun Gong practioners and political dissidents before harvesting their organs to sell to the highest bidder? Considering involuntary organ harvesting is illegal and the Chinese constitution apparently garantees 'freedom of speech' wouldnt all of this be a form of deception.

& ofcourse western media lies but at least we have the freedom of expression to expose those lies without being charged for 'subverting state power'

  • @1982mockingbird1982 chinese government do not tell lies. the western media and government tell lies.

  • @samus404 Exactly. You freedom of speech means we dont silence people we disagree with, even if they are lying, self-serving bigots or the most repugnant human beings imaginable. Free speech allows us to expose the truth through open dialogue and dissent. And it allows us to achieve justice by sharing information and mobilising to affect change. The CCP took away the peoples only weapon against corruption, injustice and lies which is why many of them are oppresed, exploited and brutalised

  • @Mrasianpopmusic Yes i understand what your saying. But you have to understand that when most of us human rights activists refer to 'China' what we are actually refering to is the Chinese governement. We arent refering to the continent or all its people. In fact if we didnt care about the Chinese people we wouldnt be so passionate about protecting their rights.

  • @powerofthroughts Those arent human rights! Those are human interests, theres a huge difference. Under this model of Human Rights is it okay for the governement to murder, rape, torture and sexually mutilate innocent people and political dissidents if they get in the way of of people making money and having success? And in China it is the governement who tells lies and the only reason the truth is never revealed, is because people dont have the 'free speech' to speak the truth

  • The different from China and western human right. Chinese vision of human rights are; the people must have the freedom of success, business, house themselves, have food, look after their family well and keep poverty at bay. Western human right, free speech, you can tell lies, set up hate groups, porno site etc. It is quiet different ideology.I wonder why the west love to defend their western value and the chinese hate it.

  • china is a beautiful and peaceful country, u can hate the chinese government, but we chinese love our homeland, we chinese hate Communism. for those people who cant see the lines between people and government, all i want to say is u need more education.

  • @xrey2000 That is totally not true. I know lots of people who want a great education and werent called nerds or geeks. Freedom of speech gives us the power to let out hearts out and it allows us to create so many great ideologies in a small area. Yes you may get some nutters but id rather have a nutter in the commoner role then i would have a nutter in the leadership role and no one can make him budge because he will kill any one who criticizes him. Long live the UK the true bastion of Democracy

  • stupid BBC, you can do nothing, except bashing China

  • i hate chinas leader hes such a dick
