I honestly don't understand why anyone would like the old version better. IMO it was one of the weakest pieces of music in the game, it was very monotonous and practically didn't have a melody. I like this new version way better, it's much more memorable and works better for the stage.

i think they changed it because asagen has already made the music before the game, it wasn't for the game a the beginning but just a fan song

Hm. This is an interesting decision on the part of the Rokko Chan team. I'm a bit on the fence with this one. It's not that the theme is bad (I like it,actually), but it doesn't hold the same feeling as with the first version. It's probably because I'm so used to the first after playing the game for quite a bit. Maybe when I play the game again and hear it in action, my thoughts may change.
