@ThaTruth223 Unfortunate, like Grant Hill, Penny never reached what he could have, because of injuries. I'm Seattle born and raised, and in 2007 when we were talking about signing Penny Hardaway, even SONICS fans said that he had nothing left.

In 2005-06, I was watching a Seattle Sonics at Washington Wizards game on TV. During a timeout, they cut away to Gheorghe Muresan sitting courtside with his "normal-sized" (for his age) son. That was quite a sight!

@dapper1ne ....I liked Penny n all, but that cat WAS NOT humble. Matter fact he was one of the bigger divas in the NBA at the time. He was my favorite player growing up, tho.

LIl penny was the originator lebron and kobe are just what penny hardaway paved the way for but penny was better that those 2.A prime penny averaged over 25 and over 10 apg. Nobody ever complained that penny was a ballhog or that he took to many ill advised jumpers. PENNY IS A GREAT IN MY BOOK too bad for the knees tho this was my favorite player growin up.AND I ALSO AGREE THESE WERE BETTER TIMES IN THE NBA..Now we got crybabys and gambling refs,and overgrown 2 guards
