THE BEST MUSIC THAN EVER
-
This album is has resided in my CD player since the wife and I got it in pre-release. I absolutely love it and can listen to it every day ( and almost have). I wish it would have done better in the music scene and that he would have toured with it, but seeing what happened to the US and world on it's release date (US), 9/11/01, I can see why it/he didn't.
Hey RO! Next time you come to the east coast, play some of these songs please. I prefer them over Curt's solo stuff.

hey can you include the lyrics in the description? they're awesome

•This comment goes towards the interpretation given to the message of this song. One as to know that Roland is well versed in psychology and is a well accomplished poet( should I say mystic and romantic ).He refers to the vital energy that Carl Gustav Jung calls ''anima`` which has to be channelled towards concrete goals( wearing someone else's close -got a ticket to the world).see below for following comment
-
When this is done correctly ,emotions can attain high levels of happiness( turning water into wine ) and small things of reality can become surprising and beautiful ( turning ridicule into sublime)(see below for the following of this comment).

This energy musn’t be controlled put simply turned towards the present to capture all of life’s good surprises and light our desire for it( she ll go out in the pouring rain just to drive her dog insane).A lot of artists like Roland are romantic poet who aim high towards emotions. Don t forget he wrote ``closest thing to heaven`` on his last TFF album.
'Tomcats Screaming Outside' is a must-buy album for any fan of TFF. It's absolutely mind blowing. Roland used to comment about how he wanted to write songs about "nothing" for this album which is really paradoxical because here is something that is not just rich in music but also the subject matter. Sadly, this was one of those very few albums that sounded so futuristic and brilliant yet the majority doesn't even know of its existence.
By the way, those bass lines are absolutely riveting!
