"Make Price Transparent" is a 30 second video on three words for human-environmental change. This silent video was constructed specifically to satisfy the "Green in Three" Video Contest held by the Nicholas School for the Environment at Duke University. And as time allowed, I decided to continue the manic existential saga of "World's Easiest Catch: Zen of Rock Crab," which was filmed back in summer 2007 in Santa Barbara, California. Kudos to my roomie Gwaz for reframing the rock crab story with "Price Transparency: How can you change if you don't even know?"
Way to go Victoria! One of the only ways to keep fisheries sustainable is to make sure their market price reflects the animals' worth alive in their ecosystem and how they help keep it healthy so that the species can continue to reproduce so there will still be something for fishermen to harvest and earn income and for us to eat!
