I wonder what Matraca was feeling - filming this video almost 10 years after recording the song...so beautiful, it's a shame it took that long to get a video for this gorgeous song. Too bad VH1 or some other non-country station didn't show this. I'm afraid country music will never appreciate the GREAT Matraca Berg as an artist.

I saw her live at the Birchmere last night. She is so amazingly talented! Her new album is terrific and I hope it makes a difference for her.

I saw her sing on the acoustic stage at Glastonbury as part of wine, women and song. It was a fantastic experience. There were only about 50 of us there watching. Very relaxed and intimate concert. I was blown away by her wonderful talent, and when I got home bought the new album, which is excellent

She writes some of the most hauntingly beautiful songs- The Resurrection, Back When we were beautiful , Lying to the Moon and many more !

Trisha Yearwood covers Matraca;'s songs very well ( Trisha is also a favorite of mine ), but this woman's voice is on a par with the incomparable Trisha Yearwood . It is a shame that she is not verywell known as a singer , but only as a songwriter because she is incredibly talented ! She has a new cd - check it out - perfection .
