What is he going on about and 3% growth be a requisite of capitalism.
Capitalism is the economic system of individualism and freedom. It is the expression of freedom in an economic sense. This guy misinterprets what capitalism is all about.

Hardtalk, more like Soft-Bullshit talk

@warriorprince1010 I do. You are mumbling to defend your boys. The BBC is a far left wing media outlet, this is not up for debate. They are desperatly trying to get popular support for the labour foot soldiers of the unions who are ripping off tax payers. The BBC and the unions both need labour to help keep their 6 figure salaries and power base. Political corruption stinks.

@warriorprince1010 .The bbc is has no political bias, but a cultural bias to the left wing. You dont have a clue what your mumbling on about.

"Oh come, that's an extreme" or "That's just a bad apple" or "This is just one bad screw"... just cop outs that seek the create a single straw man that keeps you from actually discussing the whole thing at large. You point out the pond and ignore the ocean!

I'm skeptical if she actually got around to reading his book...
-
@blackhole73 I think it's because they people who really need an alternative to capitalism are basically surviving from day to day and don't have time for politics
-
@Albphilosopher So why don't we dispose of it?

This interviewer is so fucking aggravating!

I like that Harvey isn't some stonefaced bore and actually engages with the interviewer without getting hostile/dismissive, unlike most HARDtalk guests
This is an excellent interview. You can't blame the interviewer, she's just doing her job by challenging the interviewee. This is "HARDtalk".

She's scared isn't she.
She's also wrong when she says that people who take home a pay check are capitalists.
they're not.
They are a commodity.
they are labor.
