@Elbottoo So I can safely assume you've never tried it but watched maybe once or twice and, being obviously homophobic, decided that it's no "real" fighting for a "real" man. Or you could've just been beaten by a MMA guy and are now deeply frustrated.

You say "real" fighting. No one has ever even mentioned real fighting. What I am saying is that the ruleset and techniques in MMA is the closest that it gets to a "real" fight. If you fight "real" fights you will not be fighting them very long.

@Elbottoo have to disagree with you there. I've been participating in, watching and analyzing lots and lots of martial arts fights, including mma fights. In the beginning of MMA (rather the UFC) there were hardly any rules and it was just different styles pitted against each other (i.e. boxer vs bjj). the guys with good groundgame ruled the fights and could not be beaten. So the fighters adapted bit by bit and MMA evolved. While it may be true that specialized arts may have some people who
