Our take on the "screen accurate" Joker from The Dark Knight.

Sorry if the video looks too dark on your computer, it didn't seem that way on camera. It may help to change the brightness and/or contrast settings on your monitor. But, hopefully the explanations are clear enough.

Feel free to post any questions you might have.

A lot of people have asked about the materials. They are all from a company called Mehron. If you do an online search for this brand name you should be able to find the Extra Flesh that we used for the scars, the Liquid Latex, the Spirit Gum, and the Fantasy F/X Tube Makeup.

You can order them from this site: http://www.stageandtheatermakeup.com/mehron.htm
or several other online sites. Maybe even eBay.

  • The makeup kit I bought includes the red and black for the eyes and mouth but they are kinda like crayon type things. What would you suggest for that?

  • those crayon things suck big time. i highly recommend in investing in some cream makeup. it's not expensive, and will look a lot better.

  • BRIGHTER LIGHTS COME OON, good job tho

  • we had on as many lights as we could. my camera just sucks.

  • @sidxevil go to any halloween or costume shop they'll be there

  • I thing the best way to make it look worn off is spray water in your face, anyone agree?

  • where can you find the liquid latex

  • Evil eye!

  • iv noticed with every tutorial vid they always makes the eyes huge, a big circle.

  • good job man. though i think a single white should've been used to give the joker more of a feel. especially gone over the eye's before applying the black to give his eye's more of a definition. But that also depends how much white you put on the eye's too before applying the black. But good job!

  • I thought the make up on the eyes r supposed to be green?
