This is good stuff, but I can tell you someone who's learned some of this sees things completely differently from someone who is totally naive about what it feels like. When I see this smoothness I tend to sympathize with the power uke is experiencing, but others likely see uke just falling down. One perspective power is apparent, another it vanishes.

O.K. I can accept that. I guess that, being an instructor myself, it interests me to watch other teaching techniques. But I do understand your point. Peace.

The instructor is demonstrating for cooperative practice. He is demonstrating exactly how he wants the class to practice so that they will LEARN without injury.

Would be cooler if the instructor was actually throwing it. It looks more like the assistant is jumping than being thrown.
