It was time to pick some more bell peppers in my greenhouse. I had some help with the camera today, as you'll see. :-)

  • How do you know when the peppers have been on the plant TOO long?

  • @nork3 If its already made the change from green to red..its time to get it off the plant. Otherwise, the next step is shriveling up.

  • How do you know when they are ready to pick?

  • @nork3 You can pick peppers at almost anytime. Its just a matter of how you want them. If you want these to be red, ya gotta wait another few weeks. I try to get them off the plant so more can grow. Red or green, they taste about the same to me.

  • grow weed!

  • @infringinator Oh sure, and give that chopper a reason to be flying around my property ! :-)

  • he got good videos good harvest vids as well

  • @mhpgardener you could definately grow anything Mr. Farmer!

  • @FookedOutMeFace I'm not sure. I've had some that developed quite well, and others that just stayed flat. No reason for the difference as far as I can tell.

  • my peppers have been on the plant for weeks now but they are just not expanding, they look like massive chillis!! im pretty sure they are bell peppers but why arent they opening up?
