Are you sure this is a 2000? Not being mean I'm never a hater on nissans but I have a automatic 2000 maxima and I get to 60 allot quicker and I only have a cold air intake on mine.

@th3ha1og0d yea dude youre dumb you must have started timing as soon as the vid started. plus hes got a point its a clutch and he didnt drop it so giv him a little lee way cuz the clutch release was a slow.

@austinmccarty SAME THING HAPPENED TO MINE... listen to dagcarson and check your mass airflow sensor because thats what was wrong with mine... heard maxima's have a bad rep with those lol

ok. I have a 2000 nissan Maxima gle. Its really pissing me off. Often when its cold or sits for a little while I start it up and start driving and I hit the gas but it doesnt gain speed and the rpms stop raising and somtimes jumps? and when I try and get on it it gets to 4.5 or 5 rpms and doesnt go any higher? Can any help me out.?

try replacing the mass airflow sensor.

It is a manual transmission, i start the timer when the clutch hits the flywheel.
