This is part three of a three part series. The video shows beginner's how to begin pottery making. I made this video especially for a group of students, but anyone learning could benefit.

  • Normally when being critical I would make sure I could spell my complaint completely. I think it is an awesome video even if it is a cone and not a (clyander) cylinders are great too.

  • Thank you for sharing. I understand better now. This was great and very informative.

  • @winegummo

Do you know the differences between a cylinder and cone? That was a cylinder.

PS: It is spelled cylinder not cylander.

  • I'm about to start pottery classes in april, so your video really helped me understand some of the basics! Now I really can't wait for classes to begin!

  • Thanks for sharing. I'm about to begin my journey into the world of pottery and was looking to see which area I would like to begin with, throwing on the wheel, hand building or sculpture. So it was great to observe and get a feel for things. Tell Riley I said hi (hope i got the name right)

  • @offcenteredpotter lol. i'm just razzing you a bit. the vid was great

  • Thankyou....this has been absolutely super in helping me. I have a wheel and some clay available to me and I have been fumbling around on my own. As soon as I can I will be out there again armed with a bit more knowledge. Going to make cylinders until I have it perfected! Your little dog is soooo cute!

  • Great instructional video. I am taking pottery after quite a few years and your instructions are very clear.

    Love the puppy!
