I shot this while my wife and I were on our honeymoon in Barcelona. We were married six years before we had a chance to take one, so we had a hell of a time.

This entire short was filmed handheld on the Canon 550D using one lens, a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8.

I made extensive use of the Magic Lantern firmware for the 550D while shooting this - thanks to the whole crew who works on that! A lot of my low light shots would have been unusably noisy without the intermediate ISO ranges.

  • You say "one zoom lens"...what camera are you using?

  • @ogami1972 Hi, using a Cannon 550D and the lens was a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 IS. I used the Adobe After Effects CS 5.5 Warp Stabilizer feature in post to get rid of the really big jitters and bumps from hand holding it, and filmed it at 60fps to give it that floating feeling.

  • FC Barcelona

  • Barcelona it's a very beautiful amusement park

  • I worked on a movie there about the time you and your wife were married.

The place has been in my blood ever since and I will live there one day.

Your video brought a tear to my eye in the way your shooting, editing, pacing and music choice intimately captured the feelings I get when I think of Barcelona. Thank You for sharing.

  • what camera and lense did you use? And also what program did you use to make the slow mo shots?
