dude, I dont know if you are right on this.
Cap and Trade is for CARBON FUEL BURNING COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES, not residental housing.
what you speak of is that the fed govt will codify energy star compliance into the IRC. thats actually almost done, and I actually think thats great! but it is NOT a part of Cap and Trade bill. It cant be b/c residential real estate is a STATE ISSUE not federal.

Is this America, or is this communist Russia and fascism? Frankly, all of us (or, at least, those of us who are paying attention) are getting progressively more fearful of the reach and control of our own government.
Unfortunately, America no longer seems to be the land of the free. We are now an occupied country, literally -- occupied by bureaucrats.
