@allenco65 That may be true for European folk lore, but not for the Dungeon and Dragons drow. Have you read the Drizzt books? The author, R.A. Salvatore, described dark elves skin tone as the color of obsidian.

The guy is a tremendous actor, he could pull it off ingeniously. Hell Ron Pearlman(Hellboy) could even be Wulfgar, and f*** it why not Selma Blair for Cattie-Brie? And considering borrowing actors why not directors/producers, get Guillermo on as well. I mean c'mon have you seen Pan's Labyrinth? Throw Tim Burton in the mix and and base it on the Transitions or Hunters Blade trilogy and Bam! Oscars anyone? lol
