Total donations from all energy companies combined - oil, coal, nuclear, natural gas - is less than 5%. Exxon hasn't contributed a dime since 2006. In any event, who funds whom is not as relevant as the scientific validity of the arguments. (Grrenpeace gets funds from insurance companies who insure against climate change disaster)

I would say the Government takes away YOUR Rights and forces Taxes on you while Corps only wish to profit.

As an example, Exxon may make only $0 .05-$0.15 per gallon of gas sold at the station - BUT Govt's tax one gallon of gasoline at about $0.50-.70. BIG GOV makes way more money on Gasoline sales than Big Oil.

The only thing that can affect the Earths temperature is the Sun. We just went through a period of almost 4 years with little or no solar activity. Being an astronomer and watching the Sun on a weekly basis for 30 years, I can say with all honestly that this means we are headed for a mini ice age, that will probably hit us far worse than it did last years, which was one of the coldest on record worldwide. It's time to call out the liars and global warming criminals. Time to end the tyranny.,

And besides, the IPCC is funded by the Gov, and just so happens to come to the conclusion that the world will end if they can't raise taxes

How about we ignore where the funding comes from, and have a debate about the science and the data?

Who cares?! Everyone knows the IPCC are funded by the money-grabbing thieves more commonly known as the government! It's obvious the government have more influence over the media than Exxon-Mobil otherwise you would see more of the NIPCC and less of the IPCC in the news! Besides, oil companies still stand to profit from the scam as the 'green' tax charges they can simply pass off to their customers!

Agreed; we need an army, schools and roads and hospitals. But where do you draw the line? Who is watching these folks?

The waste is INSANE. The US GOV has $11,787,062,206,713.50 in long term debt, as of Sept 4th 2009. Fine if you really built long term assets - but the GOV does not -they blow it - to get elected.

And that money goes to pay for our armies and our schools and our interstate highway system. It is the country that makes money off the gasoline tax. The money paid to Exxon goes into private hands.
