I loved that sculpture--it depicted all the emotions of athletes that had played for the University. I knew of many athletes that had played sports collegiality and professionally that felt emotions similar to how I felt looking at this bronze sculpture yet they had nothing to symbolize those emotions. I knew I wanted to create a company for these athletes and soon the Sculptor Company was started.
