Left 4 Dead No Mercy Subway MiniGun Glitch

NOTE: You can't do this anymore, it was patched a LONG time ago.


Most people know you can use the Minigun as a trampoline to skip some obvious crescendo events, but did you know you can use the machine gun in No Mercy 2 : Subway to completely skip this one? It seems like it would take a long time to do, but that is not true, with 4 people on versus I have managed to do it in well under a minute with 4 hitting the machine gun between Infected spawns. It's pretty funny.

To do this: Melee the machine gun for a while, there is no real way to know when it's ready ( unless you practice and count ) but, make sure you're crouching when you do it so if you charge it to low you won't hit the ceiling above the machine gun. Jump on it and hold left or right ( depending on how much you charged it ) and you will land on one of the top metal bars or somewhere near.

Note: The funny part at the end with me holding onto the edge has never happened to me but I decided to leave it for comedic purposes :P

how do u do ur fast melee? did u do like:

bind "mwheelup" "invprev;wait 15;+attack2;wait 5;-attack2"

bind "mwheeldown" "invnext;wait 15;+attack2;wait 5;-attack2"?

No, I just roll the mouse wheel up and down and hold right click lol, I don't know how to do it efficiently, nor do I care, because when I play L4D I play it legit. This is just something we found one day.
