@PortsmouthNoir I didn't say there were no injuries. If you think MMA is easier, just ask Brock Lesnar...lol. MMA fighters are the best trained athletes in the world. You might have a point about professional wrestlers having a higher injury statistic. I attribute that to the refs doing their job to protect the fighters in MMA. Hell, professional wrestling has a higher death statistic than any industry I think. Comparing it to other sports is like apples and oranges though.

@travisxgreggxajax1 plus, shamrock would draw fuck all now. Nobody would know who he is.
-
@SFWarrior2 get over it, they both have.
-
@travisxgreggxajax1 "fake" broken necks? 50+ men under 40 have died in a "fake" industry. Pro Wrestlers fuck up their bodies more regardless of it being a choreographed performance, and do it more often than MMA fighters who just roll around hugging every three months.

@Lionheart218 you sound more bitter than Bret ever has been about anything. Cheer up, life isn't that bad you know.

Shamrock is underrated as a pro-wrestler IMO. Great to see such a huge man pull out Hurricanranas. His gimmick may have been simple but when he "snapped" you could help but believe it - the guy was legit.
It should've been shamrock and owen hart and michaels carrying the company into the new millenium. Alas :(
-
@MysticGohaku Oh probably just part of the slow and deliberate process to make the Bret look weak....... another step in the gradual character assassination of the Hitman, perpetrated by the male rent boy with his two trannsexual henchmen.......
-
What was up with the finish? I understand wanting to protect Shamrock's credibility, but wasn't Bret Hart face at the time?

LA ÉPOCA DORADA DE LA WWF, A MI PARECER...

They so should have put the belt on Shamrock. Even Bret wanted to do it. Too bad, they preferred to give it to some male stripper. I wish shamrock would give up fighting, since he's so far past his prime, and return to wrestling.
