@x00004 cause it becomes easier to sing? DUH, other than that, what people often overlook.. it gives a much more profound lower end, not that they lack it, but it just gives that little more low attack on the lower E, making the tone heavier. I do it all the time, hell i go as far as C

That intro is so stupid. It would perfectly fit in with the unforgiven 3 instead of the stupid piano

i'd say that the intro fulfilled its purpose. this is actually my first time hearing the song and it melded strangle eargasmically.

that's what i've always loved about metallca i think james and kirk are going to go one direction they go slow out of nowhere and then i think they go fast and go the other way.
