he seems really awesome. I'd really like to know how he thinks up all that crazy stuff from piano concerto no 2 and 3
-
Finally I know what he sounded like.

@MaximPodolsky Strongly agree ;)

@LayLink Yeah well I'm not a big fan of Mozart, that's for sure, he's got some great pieces towards the end of his career, but it almost seems like for him it was about quantity, not quality.

@BassicStorm Is there only one work, from "classical" music, as imaginative, inventive, rich, surprising, and ... logic, like the two Prokofiev violin concertos, or his second piano concerto? Listen only to the solo cadenza of the first movement ... ( v=c0jkloUBCeg ) (5:30-9:50)
and listen to Beethoven's or Mozart's complete work loool
We must stop with the Wolfgang Ludwig superstitions
Prokofiev u r the Best !!!

Q: Sergei Sergeyevich, maybe you'll tell our listeners about your work?
A: Well... Currently I'm working on a symphonic suite of waltzes which will include: 3 waltzes from "Cinderella", 2 from "War & Peace" and one from the film "Lermontov"... ...we recently produced in Leningrad, with great success, in which the composer Chizko distinguished himself as a tenor, wonderfully playing Pierre Bez'uhov. Besides this suite I'm writing a sonata for violin and piano, upon which completion I'll work on

What can anyone say? This footage is as valuable as one could imagine! It is like Beethoven or Bach or Brahms playing the piano and then commenting on the music. Bravo!
