I love Julie Andrews, she is my super star since I watched The Sound of Music when I was a child. I am sure Audrey is a good movie star too. Both are great. I wish I can sing like Julie Andrews in my next life.

Much as I ADORE Julie Andrews I think that Hepburn conveyed more vulnerability in this role and that counterpointed nicely with the elegance and inner strength she displayed in the film. As for age she was 35 - Andrews 29 at the time not that much difference - shame she couldn't sing it though.
