A hundred years have passed
Yet I hear the distant beat of my father's drums.
I hear his drums throughout the land.
His beat I feel within my heart.
The drum shall beat

  • I bought the CD when my daughter was an infant, and now, 19 years later, we sing this song, and feel even closer. This song has become part of our shared soul. <3

  • @afolklor Wow that's just beautiful, REAL MUSIC.

  • @MichealJackon4ever12 No matter your origin, you allow ugly words to spill from your tongue, and have no high ground to claim.

  • @afolklor Far out. I been lookin for the english translation. thanks

  • @lmuthali

Ok listen here i am a real native but the reason i dont call my self Native american indian is maybe the fact that the White men claimed us ok sooo plz dont talk to me like u know me or dont u ever assume cuz to me it looks like the real fake one here is you.. XD sooo you are not my teacher and dont ever act like u are one ok... Oh and by the way keep your comments to your self BYE

  • beautiful song!

  • @cvilla22 No it doesn't. You might want to familiarize yourself with the topic more. This is unique and amazing music most people never get a chance to hear if things go the way it's been going.

  • @MichealJackon4ever12 you mental midget, it does involve me since I am real Indian.

Reason white man keeps natives enslaved is because people like you don't even want to stand up for your own identity. White man calls natives "Indian" "Red Indian" "First Nation" and whatnot to get away from the word "native" so that they can one day claim themselves as native to this land, heck majority of the whites who are born here call themselves "native".

  • lovely song of the people, best of the dear ones

  • @lmuthali
