Ingeborg Hallstein - Mia speranza adorata...Ah, non sai qual pena (LIVE)

Ok! last Ingeborg Hallstein post for a while!
In this live performance Ingeborg sings this very challenging concert aria by Mozart
The range spans 2.5 octaves (C4-F6), which she covers with ease.
I find quite interesting that in this recording as the microphone is farther away her voice seems to gain in richness and depth as opposed to when the microphone is closer as in her studio recordings.

hallstein is a gem. i have the records available in the market but coming from this generation, my only hope to witness this great artist is through generous people like Lohengrin, Popoli and Primohomme. Thank you for posting, please dont stop posting, we need to rediscover these gems. Artists like them, Hallstein, Pons, Mesple, Sutherland, Sills, Callas, Tebaldi, sack, Robin, Dessay, Jo, Moser, Auger, Popp among others are vanishing. We love these greats.
