Construction Update #6: Veterans Skatepark 1/15/12 - Woodbridge, VA - Thunderwood

This week's update isn't a huge one... the past week was filled with rain/snow, so not a lot of time for construction. The main work that was done was the double set, bank going down the curved hubbas, a bunch of leveling/framework for decks/flat bottoms, and finally they did a really nice job adding some cool checkered tile to the bowl! Keep an eye out for next week's update.

@NathanRadd I went to film them, but since the park is so far along, the guys working on it wouldn't let me film. It's lookin great though and shouldn't be that much longer.

the bowl is pretty much done they filled in portion that is missing in this video. Different elements are still being added. Looks a lot better/bigger in person They have done a very good job with this park and it is going to be a lot of fun.

hope the vert ramp gets a little attention paid to prior to reopening, maybe a new coat of paint (resurfaced would be amazing) and a good powerwash/stain. This place would really shine.
