It was interesting that Golden Square P1 got cancelled enroute considering they were in the street of the job & in front of Bendigo P1 & 2. Also Golden Square turned off there siren at that point in the video because we had a green light, no traffic & it was late at night.

Most of the new Type 4 Heavy pumpers have the new siren. on Warrnambools first job with it, they had to wind down the windows to make sure it was working as it is very quiet compared to our old type 3 heavy pumper siren.

@pantonman Yeah, seems to be on most of the new heavies, but have heard Dandenong or Hallam & Frankston have "revised" models. I know Springvale does on their pumper. Still could be better though. I love the siren on Golden Square Pumper, quite a difference to the newer sets.

Gee, Bendigo P1's siren still sounds very bad. I noticed Golden Square killed the siren too as they went past.

i understand that Warnambool's pumper has the same bird whistle siren as Bendigo P1

and note that the engine noise of pumper 2 ( the 3rd in line) is just as loud as the siren.
