pretty much noone knows of these guys in New Zealand, Such as shame they are one of the best bands ever.

They are more known then most people think. They sell out everywhere they go. I saw them with Elbow opening up for them in Chicago a few years back and was just amazed by them. Elbow was amazing too.

Saw them for the first time this year in Warrington (UK) as a warm up for some off the larger venues, and they were awesome!.

Actually I think carson daly was first to have them and they played kingdom of rust. But his shows on at like 2:00 am lol...I don't think many people watched it. The doves were in north america trying to get some exposure and they played on the late night shows.

I heard one of their songs on AOL Radio years ago, I also had no idea who they were. The more of their music I heard, the more I became addicted. They have unmatched talent and originality. Almost no one in New York knows Doves, but that's not a bad thing. It keeps them grounded and normal. I talked to Jimmy after a concert for 5 mins on the street. He had a whisky in hand and was so down to earth. Cool as shit. Enjoy the best kept secret in Music!

Seriously. I never heard of this band, decided to watch Fallon and Biel that night and saw them play. They were amazing.
