@jamsbruno1 Ok cautious is a better word to describe it. He's still a newbie white belt though and it shows. Arms are low, attacks have no intention, stance is weak and lacks correct movement. In 4 years he may be good at shotokan. I don't know capoeira so I can't say anything.

Naw he need to work on his aim, maybe spar with a few more people outside of his style, learn how to incorporate it.
