I got all the gear for the mini amp I've been wanting to make. Here's my breadboarded mintyamp - I'll probably post another vid once I've put it all in an enclosure

  • Will it work with bass guitars?

  • It'll work with anything that you can get audio out of, and can convert to the 1/4" audio jack.

  • is that a yamaha studio lord, or a gibson?

  • It's actually an Agile.

  • @BDoggy45 Yep—should behave the same way.

  • could you use a 1/8 jack plug

  • This can work much better with 6" to 10" inch speacker

  • make a tutorial

  • Because a even a practice amp measures about 0.5 meters x 0.4 meters and is made of wood. They give a pretty bad tone as it is, you cant expect something with such a small speaker and to made out of metal to give a nice sound. Try putting your keys on a speaker cone and see if it sounds nice or not, its the same principle.

  • can you send me the schematics!?!?!

  • Well that explains why it's called an "Altoids Tin Amp." What does that have to do with the tone?

  • Its in a mint tin....

  • how do you make it?
